Channel 99 serves B movies and Betamax legends around the clock.
Our approach to design was to create a simple and clean identity for a messy tv channel. Respecting the roots of channel 99 we wanted to have some nostalgic graphic elements, but without being completely retro. We used modern looking bold Typography and ironic Headlines to carry out a massage of a self confident channel, that is aware of its heritage. Striking color palette and some camera mapping eye candy deliver a huge variety. Snippy transitions and animations support the look and feel of B movies in a modern way.
